Sandy McGarvey, MTS, LPC

If you find yourself struggling with overwhelming symptoms of anxiety, depression, or unresolved trauma, I can provide a safe, nurturing environment to support your healing. Through clinical and holistic interventions, my aim is to help you get to the root of your symptoms rather than simply offering tools to “manage” your symptoms. I am trained as an EMDR practitioner to help identify and process any underlying issues that may be holding you back. I will meet you at your own level of readiness to discover the answers that already lie within you. Take your first step towards emotional freedom and authenticity by calling today.

In-home Counseling Services

In-home services are available for at-risk youth ages 5-18 when appropriate. The youth will be matched with a licensed therapist to work with the child and the family to address the issues that may impact the child’s emotional well-being. Therapists help the child and the family to identify resources within the local community to provide ongoing support.

Additionally, the child will be matched with a behavioral assistant who works under the therapist’s direction to model coping skills and strategies targeting specific behaviors that are of risk to the child. All services are coordinated through a case manager who will meet regularly with the family while services are in place.

This program is managed through our state-funded Children’s System of Care. To learn more about these services, please visit Performcarenj.org.
